Sanjaya Malakar Is Saving American Idol
The television show Yankee Idols is most likely a ratings smash after being on air for 6 years, a show can begin to show some wear and tear.
Though not afflicted by declining ratings, the crop of fresh talent this year does not have the same star power of years past. Websites like Vote for the Worst, a site dedicated to selecting the worst frontman on American Idol to vote for.
The creators of the site say that American Idol isn’t about finding the best talent and a lot of great vocalists are sent packing as the shows judges and producers decide to push along those with disappointing and lackluster talent tarnishing the challenge before it even starts.
Whilst Idol fans don’t have to agree with the methods of the rogue site, there appears tiny other rationalization of Idol competitors like Diana Dagarmo, who basically made it to the finals on season 3 of the show and competitors of the current year Antonella Barbara and Sanjaya Malakar. Sadly, all 3 appear to be extremely similar in singing styles making it a quite dull and common-or-garden contest.
The sole pseudo rocker on the show Gina was just booted from the show at the last elimination and without the erstwhile Malakar I fear the show definitely would suffer in the ratings office. Thanks to the debate of the singing challenged Malakar, Idol is making announcements in favored celebrity weekly mags like Star Mag, the nation’s Enquirer and US Weekly and favored entertainment shows.
The ever grumpy Simon Cowell has threatened to quite if Sanjaya basically wins, and the self announced king of all media Howard Humorless has jumped into the fray egging on his dedicated listeners, who maybe don’t even watch the show to vote for the follicle challenged Sanjaya Malakar. There are tons of articles being dedicated to this new phenomenon and the media savvy Malakar has even cut off his famous locks and they are being auctioned for a reported 2 million bucks.
